My elliptical arrived on time and very well packaged. While there was a lot to put together the instructions were easy to follow and the hardware well marked and organized. Love this piece of equipment!

I've been looking at the Horizon EX-79 at my local sporting goods store, and last weekend decided to buy it. I came home to check the reviews and pricing on Amazon, and found this one, and a couple of others that were very negative re: Horizon's support. It also seems like people that just bought a Horizon unit were happy with their decision, while those who'd had it for more than a few months had a lot of complaints. So, I'm moving on to another brand. Thanks for posting.

HORIZON WILL NOT HONOR THIER WARRANTY!
MOTOR CONTROL BOARDS DIE ON ALL OF THIER TREADMILLS. ITS A KNOWN ISSUE - DO SOME GOOGLE SEARCHES!
HORIZON ADVERTISES THEMSELVES AS A QUALITY MANUFACTURER WITH GREAT SALES WHEN INFACT THEY PUT OUT TERRIBLE PRODUCT PRONE TO REGULAR FAILURE. DO GOOGLE SEARCHES BEFORE PURCHASE
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ANY PRICE - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
HORIZON CAN MAKE IT RIGHT AND CONTACT ME TO HONOR THE WARRANTY I THOUGHT I WOULD GET AND I WILL REMOVE MY POST.
IF MY POST IS STILL HERE, YOU CAN ASSUME THEY DID NOT HONOR!
